No diggity..No Doubt!!!!!!

Even those who weren't old enough to appreciate 90's music (i.e. staughter) can appreciate No Doubt, so it's no wonder that their show last night was sold out. It was AWESOME!!! I bought my ticket long before my Coop joined the Team and to be honest, I almost couldn't leave him to go! Boy, I definitely would've missed out. Each song took me right back to high school (in a good way). I'm surprised that I didn't lose my voice from channeling my inner teeny-bopper and screaming like a rabid fan! Yeah! See that? I'm still on a concert high and it's been over 24 hours!...And yes, I openly admit to wanting to wear my new concert t-shirt until FOREVER!!! (SIgh...) Well, go on and judge me if you must. I'll be the first to admit that I clearly don't get out as often as i used to! HA!

Anyway, what's a blog without lists?

My top 5 moments last night:
1. Seeing Alice and the Heathers again. They make me laugh so hard that my Cooper kangaroo pouch jiggles! Ha! TMI?
2. Lolita's before the show. Their rolled tacos never fail me. Well worth the bubble guts.
3. Watching Natasha's lost love as he called her frantically in between songs. Poor boy...but excellent example as to why underage drinking is not a good idea.
4. Singing along to EVERY song...oh, except one of the encore songs. Never heard of it.
5. Driving home with my new concert shirt on, the windows down and No Doubt blaring from my radio speakers. Priceless.

Worst moments:
1. Wishing that I had purchased Kettle corn before climbing the 500 steps to the lawn.
2. The annoying girls that kept pushing, and sometimes bouncing, their way forward. It confirmed that I'm too old to be standing at concerts.
3. Sitting in the parking lot and regretting not buying tickets to the second show in August

  1. YAY! I'm number #1 on your top 5 list! Wow...you would've thought that I would've made it this far? I'd like to thank all of those who supported in my moments of insanity, all the little people who let me stand on their back to get ahead and the Good Lord above. Thank you. :)
